SUMMARY:Regenerative Signal: Professional development for Regenerative Evaluation practitioners
DESCRIPTION:When: 5 monthly sessions\, Wednesdays 3-4.30pm CET. May 20\, June 17\, July 15\, September 16\, October 21 \nFacilitated by: Jannik Kaiser and Hannah Connors \nLearn more and sign up here:  https://eveeno.com/regen-signal-2026 \n  \nMonitoring & Evaluation often feels like a tax on doing good. For many organizations and practitioners\, measuring impact has become a compliance exercise—we extract data to satisfy external demands\, but rarely does that process feed energy back into our own work or the communities we serve. \n  \nRegenerative Signal is a 6-month learning journey designed to bridge this gap. We invite you to shift evaluation from an extractive obligation into a source of Systemic Vitality. While it introduces new tools\, the deeper aim is embedding a Regenerative Paradigm—one that fosters participation\, emphasizes learning\, and views M&E as an act of empowerment. You will move from static reporting to dynamic sense-making\, equipping yourself to make credible claims with methodological integrity. \n  \nWhat You Will Gain: The Professional Outcomes \n  \n\nSystemic Clarity: Master the Impact Garden framework to map the “invisible” roots of your work and visualize non-linear change. You will move beyond linear logic models to identify the “Soil” (resources) and “Supportive Conditions” that are often invisible in traditional reporting.\nCredible Claims in Complexity: Learn our specific methodology for making credible claims. You will gain the tools to build trustworthy narratives about your contribution to systemic change without oversimplifying the story\, moving toward rigorous contribution analysis.\nHuman-Centric Approach: Integrate the Capacity Compass to measure the “human soil”—the inner capacities like trust\, resilience\, and engaging with complexity that are the foundation for results.\nApplied Portfolio: You will bring a current project and finish the course with a tailored evaluation framework ready for implementation in your specific organizational context.\n\n  \nThe Journey & Session Flow  \nWe meet monthly to explore specific aspects of Regenerative Measurement & Evaluation (RME). Between sessions\, you will apply these tools to your work\, supported by our digital workbook and video masterclasses. \n  \n\nCultivating Insight (May 20): Designing a holistic framework that captures all dimensions of meaningful change\, moving beyond the “fruit” to the ecosystem that sustains it.\nSelf-Assessment (June 17): Learning practical patterns to assess the human dimensions—like resilience and learning—that drive your strategy forward.\nEvaluate & Recognize (July 15): Building habits of reflection within your team and fostering decentralized ownership when working with partners to ensure the process is collaborative.\nMeaning & Rigour (Sept 16): Weaving your data into a data-backed impact narrative that satisfies stakeholders while honoring the reality of non-linear attribution.\nThe Joy of Noticing (Oct 21): Integrating the pieces to close the loop from “proving impact” to “improving health\,” defining how to sustain these practices long-term.\n\n  \nIs this journey for you? We are convening a diverse cohort of actors committed to meaningful change\, with a focus on: \n  \n\nFoundations\, Funds & Impact Investors: Program officers seeking to move toward trust-based\, systemic learning.\nMultilaterals & International Aid: Teams looking for frameworks that honor the complexity of their interventions.\nPurpose-Driven Teams & Freelancers: Practitioners who want to build an evaluation culture that supports their mission rather than distracting from it.\n\n  \nPricing & Contribution  \nTo ensure access for grassroots practitioners while reflecting the value for established organizations\, we apply a Tiered Pricing Strategy (€150 – €950). Open Access (Scholarship) is available to ensure financial circumstances are never a barrier to participation.

SUMMARY:Beyond Community Participation: Shifting Ownership Across the Evaluation Lifecycle
DESCRIPTION:When an evaluation is labeled “participatory\,” who actually owns the design\, the data\, and the final story? \nToo often\, community involvement is flattened into extractive data collection or late-stage consultation. In this session\, Bhargavi Thakur draws on real-world project experience to explore what it takes to move beyond surface-level participation toward communities as co-owners across design\, implementation\, and reporting. \nMore specifically\, we will dive into two core strands: \nMoving from consultation to co-ownership: Practical pathways for involving communities from the outset as co-designers\, data gatherers\, and co-authors of stories and reports. \nNavigating unresolved tensions: Honest inquiry into the structural friction\, institutional constraints\, and residual power dynamics that persist even within highly progressive\, community-centered evaluation. \nYou’ll walk away with concrete entry points for shifting community roles across the project lifecycle\, language and tactics for navigating donor constraints and institutional resistance\, and peer exchange on handling power imbalances in practice. \n🕒 A Note on Format: This is a 90-minute interactive gathering featuring a natural 60-minute soft exit. If your schedule only allows for an hour\, you can drop in for the core input and initial peer sense-making! \nWhether you are an evaluator\, community organizer\, or funder striving to make measurement a generative\, community-led practice\, you are wholeheartedly welcome to join us. We look forward to practicing out loud together! \n  \nBackground about the community & event series \nThis gathering is part of Experiments in Regenerative Evaluation\, a public event series hosted by Unity Effect and the global Regenerative Evaluation Community of Practice—an open network of over 250 practitioners\, researchers\, and network leaders shifting measurement from extractive compliance toward life-affirming learning. Further events of the series include: \n\nOctober 22 (3pm CEST): Navigating Power Dynamics & Institutional Tensions in Evaluation\nNovember 3rd (4pm CET): Sensing what is emerging: from reporting on the past to stewarding the future\nNovember 12th (4pm CET): Evaluating the Intangible: Capturing Relational Shifts in Network Leadership\n\n  \nLearn more here.

SUMMARY:IPC16 online conference
DESCRIPTION:The movement is driven forward by individuals and collectives all busy doing and we do not often pause to reflect on our collective impact as a movement. We may be repeatedly solving the same issues and challenges because we lack visibility over what is happening within the movement at a larger scale or elsewhere. Together we can make the movement visible to itself\, in order to achieve greater results by working together\, using our resources more effectively and amplify each others voices. \nThe International Permaculture Convergence IPC16 will be making visible the growing permaculture movement and include talks about how permaculture is relevant to meet the current and difficult challenges of the world. We will be bringing together speakers from different key domains to share knowledge and best practices with the international Permaculture space and our allied networks. The focus of this series of events sits in sustaining and creating movement coherence and cohesion: we are all on the same team. \n\n\n\n\nWho is the Conference for?\nWe are inviting and engaging with an audience passionate about the Permaculture as a movement and active at one or more levels from Local to Global\, from in-place to online. \nYou are the strategic movement actors that are shaping the movement including both established\, up and coming: \n\nprofessionals\nactivists\norganisations\nacademies\nassociations\nnetworks\n\n\n\nProgramme for the Online Conference\nThis is a clear and enthusiastic invitation for strategic partners to join the online conference & convergence and take the opportunity  to share knowledge and best practices with the global movement as well as becoming inspired for the possibilities of collaboration and collective growth.  We have co-created a thoughtful programme to inspire  permaculture practitioners\, communities and organisations to see themselves as an integral part of the growing and cohesive movement that is centred around collaboration\, knowledge sharing and mutual sup \n  \n  \nLearn more here.

SUMMARY:The Power of Challenging your Assumptions
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever paid a high price for jumping to a conclusion? \nAs human beings\, we tend to believe that everything that happens to us\, is about us. The reality is that many things that happen to us have nothing to do with us at all. Someone ‘ignores’ us and we begin making up a story about why. And in the worst case scenario\, we act upon our unfounded assumption. Making matters worse when we discover the person was simply preoccupied with something else. \n  \nLearn more here.
