Free Online Workshop: The Impact Garden – a regenerative theory of change
October 23 @ 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
It’s our wish to equip practitioners working towards a just and thriving future with tools and maps to serve them on their path. And – believe it or not – we are convinced that the processes of measurement and evaluation can actually serve to increase our understanding, foster participation, and deepen our impact.
Rooted in a regenerative approach to measurement and evaluation, Unity Effect’s Impact Garden model draws on the metaphor of living systems and nature. Rather than “comparing apples and oranges”, the model seeks to understand the soil and ecosystem in which the apple and orange trees grow.
In our workshop, we will explore:
- how a regenerative approach to Theories of Change can create new insights and foster a deeper understanding of your project and work
- the Impact Garden model and how you can apply it to a project, idea or your work in general
- how we’ve applied the model so far and what we’ve learnt from it
You don’t need to have any prior knowledge or experience in impact evaluation to join and benefit from this workshop. There will also be a surprise for you at the end of the workshop.
We look forward to learning together with you!
Jannik and the Unity Effect team
Please note: The workshop times are in Central European Summer Time (UTC +2). Our workshops are designed to be a space for exchange. We will not record, but you will receive our slides afterwards. We will exclude any AI tools for meeting notes (Otters, Fireflies, …) to enable open dialogue.
