How to Connect

Emily Carroll is an independent consultant. She works on projects that focus on public health and healthcare issues. Her clients rely on her to cultivate networks, develop strategy, and manage projects and assets. In addition, she has developed curricula to address social issues from an implicit bias perspective. She earned her Ph.D. in Political Science from Southern Illinois University and was the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute’s inaugural Graduate Research Fellow. She also holds an MSHS in Public Health, and a BA in Women’s Studies. Dr. Carroll has worked for think tanks devoted to advancing women’s and children’s policy issues and consulted for several progressive policy organizations. She is affiliated with The Campaign School at Yale and seeks to get more women elected and involved in the policy process. She is passionate about social justice and uses the skills acquired through education and experience to inform policy, programming, and best practice.
