Laura Kaestele works as a network weaver, designer, facilitator, project coordinator, and grower focusing on integrative design, ecological regeneration, community and network development, permaculture, and holistic living with 15 years of practical experience contributing to an eco-social just transition. Together with colleagues at ECOLISE she works to cultivate a thriving impact network of community-led initiatives for regeneration and resilience in Europe guided by nature’s principles, relational care, collaboration and participatory leadership. Her services range from network design, strategy development, governance, to project coordination, membership care, participation and facilitation, to network mapping and evaluation.
With a passion for nature, clear sense of evolutionary possibilities, and joy in creative collaboration she has supported networks, non-profits, sustainable communities, eco-projects, and regenerative farms in various countries to learn, synergize, and take transformative action for ecological, social, economic and cultural regeneration. She is actively engaged in the Global Ecovillage Network, Permaculture, Ecosystem Restoration Communities, and the Evolutionary Collective. Laura holds an MSc in Regenerative Development and a BSc in Integrative Ecosocial Design from Gaia University, along with Permaculture and Ecovillage Design certificates as well as design thinking, participatory leadership, facilitation, coaching, and sustainability education training.
