Collective Mind – Introduction to Networks and Network Management
November 29, 2023 @ 8:00 am – 9:00 am
About this event
Collective Mind believes in the power of networks to foster collective action. To be effective and impactful, networks require certain capacities and must undertake a set of network functions efficiently. They also rely on the professionals who work for and with them to ensure that those networks are facilitated, coordinated, and administered well. Join Collective Mind’s “Introduction to Networks and Network Management.”
During the session, you will :
- learn about our comprehensive framework for understanding networks and ensuring their impact
- learn the basics about how we think about network management, what network managers do, and what skills and approaches network managers need
- meet and hear from fellow network practitioners and peers.

Frequently Asked Questions
What timezone are your events held in?
All Collective Mind events are listed in US & Canada Eastern Time (ET), but we alternate times and offer multiple options for many of our events to create more opportunities for global participation.
Why can’t I find the call-in information when I register for an event?
Once you register for our events, we manually add you to a Google calendar invite which includes the Zoom call-in link. If you do not receive the calendar invite within a few days of registering or cannot find the Zoom link, please contact Seema at seema@collectivemindglobal.org or Kerstin at kerstin@collectivemindglobal.org at least 15 minutes prior to any session. We may not be able to respond in time to questions receieved right before an event starts.
Are your events recorded?
Our free learning events are recorded and the recordings, slides, and summary blogs are accessible here, with the exception of our introductory sessions since they’re held monthly. Recordings and materials are also made available to those who register for our paid sessions and are available for three months after any training. Breakout group discussions that occur during any of our events are not recorded.
What accessibility options do you offer?
For all sessions, we have enabled Zoom auto-captions (also known as live transcription) to allow participants to access this feature if they choose. To view closed captioning during one of our sessions, in the meeting controls toolbar, click the Show Captions icon. As of now, English is the only available language.
