Liberatory Governance: Building Belonging in Organizational Structures
September 12, 2022 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
How do we organize ourselves to build belonging? In a world without domination hierarchies… how do we create liberatory structures?
About this event
Please join us for a discussion about Liberatory Governance & Belonging, part of our ongoing series of Conversations on Transformation. These are curated conversations about interrelated aspects of transformation: of ourselves (I), our societies (We), and our systems and institutions (World), to co-create a world where everyone belongs.
This is a conversation on how we organize ourselves: in a world without coercion and domination hierarchies, how do we build liberatory communities, networks, and organizations? How do we make decisions together? What does accountability look like? How do we make power visible, and wield it together in service of liberation and belonging? What might it look like to live and work in a community where everyone belongs? How can liberatory governance contribute to belonging… and the transformation our world so urgently needs?
