Questions that Invite Meaningful Participation (3 Part Series)
September 15, 2022 @ 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Workshop Series: How do you get the best thinking of a group?
On-line from 12-2pm EST on September 15, September 28, and October 4
Far more wisdom is “in the room” than any one of us has. This practical, experiential workshop gives you the skills to guide a group of any size to get everyone engaged and contributing ideas and finding answers together.
Accessing diverse perspectives allows an organization or community to find innovative responses and not get stuck in habitual ways of thinking and interacting. How do you get meaningful participation, where people feel heard and come together to generate collaborative solutions?
The answer is in framing strategic questions.
This three-part workshop series gives you lots of practice in:
- How to use strategic questions to inspire clarity and movement for change.
- How to host conversations and meetings that build connection, trust, and motivation for action.
Each two-hour session is an opportunity to learn new tools, while learning with other experienced social change leaders. We’ll practice on the current challenges and aspirations of participants.
Following each session, you’ll get a ‘resource-rich’ email of methods, articles, and other links to support you in applying these ideas.
Session 1: Find the Right Question at the Right Time
Session 2: Questions that Get Us ‘Out of the Box’
Session 3: Using Questions to Host Meaningful Conversations
Fee to attend: $250 for the series
If you miss a session, you can access a video of the teaching portions and the handouts and notes.

She brings real-life stories and examples to each workshop from her work using these approaches with over 200 teams, organizations, and collaborative networks. (If this fee is a barrier to participating, please email Beth. We can offer scholarships to make this accessible to all interested.)
