In response to COVID-19, The Common Market, a nonprofit regional food distributor, partnered with city government agencies across three major metropolitan areas— Atlanta, Baltimore, and New York City—to help them meet the emergent food access needs of their most vulnerable constituents through a Farm-Fresh Box Program. The Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future’s Food Policy Networks project and The Common Market invite you to join a conversation with food policy directors and city leaders from Atlanta, Baltimore, and New York City to reflect on their food access programming; key learnings coming out of the pandemic; future crisis planning and approach; and policy recommendations in support of fair, vibrant regional food systems.
