Vitality Habits
September 12, 2022 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
You don’t have to do it alone.
Experience what is possible with kinship by joining a one-month peer circle, where we learn together what it takes to sustain a habit that brings more vitality.
Most of us have intentions to exercise, eat healthier or do some other practice we know is good for us. Instead of willpower and self-improvement, what happens when we bring that intention into a community of solidarity and shared learning?
For people working toward a future with more solidarity and healthy community, peer circles with kindred spirits are a space to enjoy what you are working towards, here, now.
Here’s How it Works
Each person who registers will commit to adopt a “vitality habit,” such as exercising, eating more nutrient-dense foods, meditating, spending time in nature… you decide on a habit that will give you vitality, energy, strength, and/or centeredness.
The group meets on-line four times, once a week for an hour.
The first series starts around the new moon, a good time to set intentions.
We’ll have a shared tracking sheet on-line where each week you check off when you did the activity. This is in a spirit of cheering each other on.

We’ll have a shared tracking sheet on-line where each week you check off when you did the activity. This is in a spirit of cheering each other on.
Beth Tener and Sara Cummings, a life coach, will facilitate the group calls, which include:
- Teachings on changing patterns, such as how context and mindsets affect our behavior.
- Small and large group conversations and reflection on your experience in following through on your vitality habit intention.
Through the experience, we’ll be learning in community about:
- What connects us to a feeling of vitality?
- What does it take to change patterns?
- What is possible when we have positive group experiences of kinship, solidarity, and shared learning?
If you falter in keeping to your intention, that becomes a place to learn. We’ll get a chance to see what others experience over the four weeks as they adopt different vitality habits, which can give us motivation and insights. You’ll also learn a peer-to-peer circle approach you can use to host peer circles in other contexts.
