Working Group on Inclusive Networks : 7 week series
June 8, 2022 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Building and managing inclusive networks is fundamental to ensuring networks achieve their purpose and value as multi-stakeholder organizing models. A network – whatever its scale, scope, and area of focus – will be defined by its ability to effectively and meaningfully include and engage all relevant stakeholders. Within our networks, we must be able to ensure and harness the diversity of network members to achieve the impact we seek. REGISTER NOW
Registration closes June 8th.
The Working Group on Inclusive Networks will be a space for peer reflection, sharing, and learning about all the ways in which our networks can and must be inclusive. The purpose of the working group is to develop our shared knowledge about how to consider the multiple elements of inclusion within our networks and improve our networks and network practice to increase inclusion.
We will use the network capacities outlined in Collective Mind’s Network Diagnostic Framework to frame our reflections and discussions. (Learn more about network capacities here.) A workbook including reflection prompts for each session/topic will be provided at the outset of the working group.
Structure and Schedule:
The working group will meet weekly for seven one-hour sessions for seven weeks, beginning the week of June 13th to the week beginning July 25th. In the first session, we will introduce ourselves and the working group format. and frame the concept of inclusive networks.
