Many leaders feel called—and are being called—to fortify the internal systems and structures that support our movements by shaping their own organizations into containers of care, well-being, and mutual thriving. We are sharing our internal “Holding People and Teams: An Organizational Handbook for Growth, Care, & Accountability” to support leaders who don’t know where to start or how to begin this infrastructure-building work.
This handbook aims to hold a liberatory approach to Change Elemental’s human growth and sustainability work. It brings a little more water to what is often a landlocked place in organizations by outlining values-aligned systems, processes, and practices that support shared leadership and mutual accountability for individuals and the whole at Change Elemental.
The handbook is intended to create greater clarity on how we work together so that we can each shine in our own gifts and purpose, as well as shine as a team, in service of advancing Change Elemental’s vision, mission, and sustainability. It supports greater transparency and alignment about our shared agreements, supervision responsibilities, decision-making, feedback practices and processes, and our performance and growth process.
