Collective Acceleration Applied Clinic: Story Practice
August 11, 2021 @ 8:00 am – August 13, 2021 @ 5:00 pm
“We are the haku mele, the weavers of songs, narrating into the unfolding as it is happening that people may see and understand and join. We are long storytellers, who tell the story that has not yet taken place in a time far away with vivid detail and compelling bloom that many may know what it is that must be done between now and then” — Norma Wong
Come join us at Collective Acceleration Applied Clinic: Story Practice, as we call into being the shared story of our collective future.
Connecting across past, present, and future, we invite you to practice talk-story, art-making, and creative writing to build our collective muscle for telling the future story we’re remembering, living into, and imagining alongside each other, our ancestors, and descendants.
This clinic invites us into story practice as a way of being and thinking to breathe into and embody a world that centers love, joy, and belonging.
This Collective Acceleration Applied Clinic: Story Practice will take place August 11, 12, 13, gathering virtually on Zoom for 2 hours on each day, with additional story practice on your own and in small group cluster times that you schedule.
“Such is the fertile work beckoning our collective generation, one among many, standing with ancestors for descendants yet to be.” — Norma Wong
